Season 1's characterizations and worldbuilding were peak comfy. Twilicorn derailed the direction of the show and demonstrably killed the fandom's growth. Starlight being forced into the main cast was so jarring and felt inorganic. Nothing from A Canterlot Wedding onward is canon.
