Smash ultimate newcomers Alignment Chart
Most likely newcomers for smash ultimate (no assist trophies, spirits and Mii costumes are fine as long as they were in the base game) characters have to either be from a Nintendo game, be on a Nintendo console, be from a series already represented, or be an icon of gaming. I included a Pokémon from each generation except for gen 1 because there are too many gen 1 reps.
